The teleoperation control concept provides the flexibility to simulate a wide variety of battlefield scenarios. Badger is ideal for tailored training exercises and the evaluation of anti-tank missiles, anti-tank gun systems, and artillery-fired projectiles. The Badger can reach speeds in excess of 40 km/hr over prepared surfaces and teleoperate at ranges up to 10 km. Unique control systems allow Badger to maneuver easily at night. Light armor provides protection from subcaliber weapons and small arms fire. The Badger's teleoperational control concept allows for on-site target course selection. Badger is fully transportable to and from operating sites. Its control station is designed to operate up to 8 targets individually and can be expanded to allow simultaneous control of up to 4 targets by adding command modules. Multiple tank targets can also be simulated.
